 South St. Paul Lions Club – Calendar Raffle

The South St. Paul Lions Club sponsors a Calendar Raffle each year. Nearly $7500.00 is donated to our community and nearly $7,500.00 is given out in prizes. There is at least one raffle winner per day during the month of February. The largest drawing is for $1,000 which is awarded on Valentine’s Day. The BEST PART is each ticket can win multiple times, as winning raffle tickets are returned to the drawing hopper, and are eligible to win more than once!

Tickets cost $10 a piece, and only 1,500 Tickets are sold and are available from South St. Paul Lions Club members starting in the late fall and are terrific gifts or stocking stuffers. Tickets are usually available for purchase at the South St. Paul Lions Christmas Tree sales lot, until they are gone

South St. Paul Lions Club – Giant Egg Hunt

The South St. Paul Lions Club is proud to sponsor the South St. Paul Park and Rec Giant Egg Hunt. The event is held annually at Kaposia Park in South St. Paul, Kids ag 1-8 join the hunt for candy and prizes. There are different egg hunt areas for different age groups, ensuring fun for all participants


South St. Paul Lions Club – Christmas Tree Sales

The South St. Paul Lions Club sells Christmas trees and wreaths in the lot next to Ollum Appliance at the corner of Marie and 12th Avenues. The lot is open from 4-8 pm M-F and 9am – 8pm Saturdays and Sundays from the Friday after Thanksgiving until the trees are all sold. The past several years, the tree lot has been sold out within the first 3-4 weeks. Be sure to come early for the best selection. The profits from this terrific fundraiser are used to support local community needs, as well as designated Lions International charities.

The South St. Paul Lions would like to thank Mike and Deb Schaeffer, owners of Ollum Appliance for their generosity for allowing the use of their property for this event, and the South St. Paul Packer Football Team for their help unloading the Christmas Tree truck.


South St. Paul Lions Club – Breakfast With Santa

The South St. Paul Lions Club and South St. Pau Lioness Clubs are proud to host Santa Claus and the greater community for a special Breakfast with Santa at Lincoln Center.

The Lions serve a wonderful all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast. Santa will make an appearance, and be available for pictures and Christmas requests. The event is free for kids 5 and under, with a nominal charge for others.

In addition coordinating the pictures with Santa, the Lioness Club also operates a special store where young shoppers can select gifts for their parents and loved ones.


South St. Paul Lions Club – On The Road Again

On October 7, 2017, the city of South St. Paul will once again host “On The Road Again.” The event typically hosts an arts & craft market, the World Championship Booya Contest, the Neighbors. Inc. Great Duck Race, a car show and many other events. The South St. Paul Lions Club is proud to host a Beer and Root Beer Garden with hamburgers and hot dogs also available.

This is a terrific family fun event. Please join us on October 7th on Southview Boulevard.


South St. Paul Lions Club – Senior Dinner

For the past several years, the South St. Paul Lions Club has Partnered with a few, select local businesses to host a Thanksgiving Dinner for the senior citizens of South St. Paul. The dinner is served free of charge, and is typically held on the second Thursday in November. In the past talented groups from South St. Paul Secondary have shared their talents providing entertainment for all. This event is designed as a sit down gathering, and take-outs are not available.

Our world famous Fruit Cakes will also be available for sale


South St. Paul Lions Club – Football Dinner Fundraiser

The South Saint Paul Lions Club is proud to continue our partnership with the South St. Paul Packers Football Team. For the past several years, the SSP Lions Club has supported the Packer Football team, as well as SSP Youth Football. The club has donated the food for the SSP youth Football night, raising funds for the Packer football team. Club members enjoy preparing the food and interacting with the players at all levels, as well as the coaches, parents and fans.


South St. Paul Lions Club – SSP Lions Memorial Golf Tournament

The South St. Paul Lions hosted the 9th annual South St. Paul Lions Memorial golf tournament on Monday, August 7th at River Oaks Golf Club in Cottage Grove Minnesota. This fundraising event is held in memory of South Saint Paul Lions who have preceded us in death. We strove to honor and continue the work they undertook before us, to continue to make our community a better place.

For the past several years, we have been blessed with a complete sell out of 144 golfers, and a full roster of volunteers to make this the largest fundraising event of the year for the South St. Paul Lions Club


South St. Paul Lions Club – SSP Lions Family Fun Shoot

Join the South St. Paul Lions Clun at the South St. Paul Rod and Gun Club for our annual Family Fun Shoot. The main event is a 50 Sporting Clay shoot, and there are additional shooting games, an awesome silent auction and a gun raffle. This event has quickly become a popular and fun filled event. Your entry fee includes the Sporting Clay shoot as well as lunch.


South St. Paul Lions Club – Kaposia Days

Kaposia Days is a community celebration, typically held the third weekend in June. The South St. Paul Lions Club is proud to be a Platinum sponsor, and Parade Sponsor. Join us as we lead off the Kaposia Days Grande Parade, and handout treats.

The South St. Paul Lions Club is also proud to be the beer vendor at the Kaposia Days softball tournament. Please support the SSP Lions at the softball tournament. The proceeds of the beer sales support community and Lions International causes.


South St. Paul Lions Club – Relay For Life

The annual Relay For Life event raises funds for the American Cancer Society by walkers who honor family members, loved ones and friends who have experienced cancer.

The South St. Paul Lions Club is proud to participate by donating directly to this event, as well as donating funds raised by selling hamburgers and hot dogs at this event. The Lions Club typically serves from 4-11pm at the event. In 2017, the South St. Paul Lions Club was honored for donations totally over $20,000 to the American Cancer Society through this event.
